Optimized Weight: All chassis parts have been carefully machined and computer optimized in order to decrease weight up to a 40% without sacrificing mechanical performance.  

 Fins: Integrated cooling fins throughout the outer sidewalls & rear panel greatly improves the chassis natural convection cooling effectiveness.

 Baseplate Hooks:Four standard centering hooks on bottom corners plus twelve attaching screws are fitted on the chassis base structure.

Handle: Practical retractable handle on front panel for chassis transport.
rugged vmebus enclosureAir Intakes: Fans assisted versions have 2 or 3 oversized air intakes fitted on the sidewalls and top cover. Intakes incorporate removable honeycomb filters for easy maintenance.

Removable Top and Bottom Covers: Simplifies maintenance and gives access to circuit cards, power supply and backplane.

Removable Front Panel: Allows easy installation of circular connectors, signal testing and I/O cabling to the backplane.
Removable Rear Panel: This panel integrates the power supply and fans. Constitutes a single independent unit for testing and maintenance.

Fan Fingerguards: Fitted on rear panel fans for safe enclosure manipulation.

 Panel LED Indicators: Four LEDs provide indication functions for power supply BIT-ACFAIL, backplane RUN-SYSFAIL, VME master-slave transfers and power ON.

Panel Labeling Area: Reserved space for customized chassis identification label plate.  Colors: Black and Naval Grey as standard. Other colors optional.
